El Santo Cantina offers unique drinks and a Mexican style cuisine with a focus on seafood dishes. Located in the heart of downtown Sacramento, El Santo Cantina is the perfect place to unwind for a happy hour, have a business meeting or enjoy a romantic dinner.
The Challenge
For a new trendy restaurant in a prime location, El Santo Cantina’s professional image was not up to par. Their brand identity was not clear and inconsistent both inside the restaurant and online.
The interior of the restaurant and outdoor patio seating area feature custom artworks by a well known San Francisco artist. This gave El Santo Cantina a very unique and exciting ambiance. It was important for the client to include the restaurant’s artwork and theme into its new brand identity.
The Solution
It was an enormous project that had to be completed within a short timeline. We understood that in order to provide quality work and deliver it on-time, we had to split the project into three phases:
First, our graphic design team cleaned up and simplified the logo and updated the color palette that represented the “Mexican Cantina”. In the second phase of our rebranding process, Analytix Media incorporated the restaurant’s unique artwork into brand identity. Our graphic design team was able to re-create a digital version of the wall art to be used as a brand identity design element. Final phase of the rebranding process consisted of implementing newly established brand identity into website, social media and local SEO platforms, as well as updating menus and promotional material.

As a result, El Santo Cantina’s updated corporate brand and clean logo help the restaurant stand out in person and online. The restaurant’s online presence reflects the experience and ambiance El Santo offers to its patrons. New menus are eye-catching and easy to read, while touch-less menus add a dash of more modern experience.
